Time For A Comic-Con OVERLOAD!

Ok, so I’ve got a lot of Comic-Con related things to show you, and honestly, I don’t know if it will fit in just one post. But dammit, I’m going to try.
I will also apologize in advance if any of these videos don’t play for you.

First: We have a poster for The Avengers Movie, and know a little information about the movie. It seems that the characters in the movie will be Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, War Machine, Wasp, Ant-Man, Hawkeye, and Nick Fury. Badass

Second: A VERY short clip was released to advertise the new Transformers cartoon thats coming out in the fall. So heres that.

Third: The trailer revealing the final universe in Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions was shown. Its the Ultimates universe, which isn’t exactly the most creative choice, but we get to wear the Symbiote in this one… Oh, and we get to fight Ultimate Deadpool.

Fourth: Some gameplay from Metroid: Other M. It looks ok so far, but the narration seems a little bland. Especially Samus. /groan Targeting enemies also seems to be a little difficult, but overall I’m liking the side-scrolling.

Fifth: DC revealed a lengthy trailer for DC Universe Online that looks totally badass. I don’t know for sure how that kind of MMO will turn out, but the trailer looks so damn awesome. If it wasn’t an MMO, I’d be totally psyched for this game. I couldn’t get the trailer to attach correctly, so I’ll link you to it. Sorry folks.

Sixth: A new gameplay trailer was released for Dead Rising 2, and its making the game look pretty fantastic, if I do say so myself. I’m a little glad Frank West isn’t back because seriously, who the hell would put themselves back into that situation?

Seventh: Capcom made several announcements today, starting with bringing 3rd Strike online sometime in the future. Secondly, in fall they will be releasing new downloadable costumes for the entire cast of Super Street Fighter 4. They even released some of the costumes already, seen below.

Thirdly, they confirmed that they will “talk more about” the blank character slots in the next picture in September in a totally hilarious troll by the developers.

Lastly: The most important announcement (to me, anyway) was also made by Capcom, but they weren’t alone. Halfway through the Capcom panel, head developers from Namco burst into the hall and started giving away copies of Tekken 6. Why, you ask? Because of this:

STREET FIGHTER VS TEKKEN! While this game isn’t going to be released for quite some time, (over a year I’d imagine) there will be two versions of the game released. One produced by Capcom, and one produced by Namco. So if you have a severe preference to the gameplay of one company, you’ll get it!

God knows I missed some stuff, but this is quite a bit to take in off the bat anyway. :P What do you think???
